Our Story

Created By My Family For Your Family.

The inspiration for a Natural Insect Repellent came from personal experience on a family holiday in Bali. Back home in Ferny Creek, Victoria, on the edge of the Sherbrooke Forest, the test product was honed to tackle the local mosquitoes and other blood-sucking nasties, for genuinely effective results.

Our goal was to produce a highly effective, great smelling product that is suitable and safe for the whole family.

BUG-grrr OFF Insect Repellent repels a large number of blood sucking, disease carrying insects such as mosquitoes, black flies, sand flies, midges and stable flies for up to 6 hours and ticks for up to 4 hours.

Our product is scientifically proven and containing the only natural compound known to be as effective as the commonly used neurotoxin DEET. We call it “Mother Nature’s DEET”.

Our Hero Ingredient

Nature is a powerful force and our hero ingredient is Oil of Lemon Eucalyptus (Hydrated, Cyclized), *OLE. Known around the world by various names, it is commonly referred to as PMD. Strictly speaking, PMD is actually the synthesized version of the naturally occurring extract we use. Our product is NATURAL.

About Oil of Lemon Eucalyptus.

It is the only natural compound approved for use as an Insect Repellent by the CDC, Centre for Disease Control.

Studies show natural *OLE is an effective Insect Repellent.

- With *OLE as the active ingredient in BUG-grrr OFF, your skin is protected from biting insects…and nasty chemicals too.
- We know natural things are safer for your skin AND your family.
- Most modern insect repellents use DEET – a man-made chemical and poison.

The ingredients in BUG-grrr OFF don’t poison the insects; instead these powerful natural extracts make potential victims (you and your family) virtually invisible to the insects’ senses. BUG-grrr OFF is a uniquely Australian Insect Repellent creation – with a uniquely Australian name.
So, next time you’re at a barbecue, the beach or just enjoying any of the other great outdoor activities Australia and the world has to offer, don’t scream at the insects to ‘bugger off’. Reach for the BUG-grrr OFF!
